Westbound from 24 October, after exiting the M5 East tunnel, there will now be three lanes in the westbound direction. You'll need to move across into the far left hand lane if you need to take the King Georges Road exit.

Eastbound from 10 October you'll need to be in the left hand lane, and then take the King Georges Road exit. All three lanes of the M5 South-West Motorway will continue onto the M5 East Motorway.

Simply

(a) be in the left hand lane of the M5 South-West
(b) take the new exit lane to King Georges Road
