In an emergency, there aren’t always flashing lights.

The flashing lights aren’t always red and blue.

Our emergency assistance vehicles flash orange.  They’re protecting M5 motorists and our team.

While it’s law to slow down to 40 km/hr to pass red and blue flashing lights it’s always a good idea to ask yourself ‘what should I do?’ when you see anything amiss.

You never know when something may appear in the path of your vehicle.  Give your reaction time a boost – start to slow down as soon as you see even a chance of an emergency.

Don’t forget, at 100km/hr you’ve travelled 42 metres before your foot on the brake even gets a message from your brain!
